SUMMiT Solar Energy as an expert in BIPV works in the MENA region have had a generous invitation from the Trust Re management to apply energy efficiency techniques on all its buildings starting with the prime location building in Limassol, Cyprus.

SUMMiT concept for this special project was to integrate a light BIPV structure to the building envelope homogenous with the skeleton not obstructing the sea view while in the same time adding value by generating the building own energy from the outer skin sloping towards the sea and looking south facing the Cyprus marvelous sun all the day.

BIPV is the most visually appealing form of renewable energy. It creates living spaces so the building will gain a new covered floor to be used in all outdoor events most of the year in addition of course to all the benefits of BIPV of generating electricity, heat gain reduction to the upper floor and air conditioning chillers protection in the roof and above all the aesthetic appearance of the building.

Custom made Glass foil solar modules with transparent back sheets are to be used in the covering light weight steel shed not only generate energy , they also create a unique atmosphere by giving the feeling of the pergola from the interplay of light and shadow.
